New affordable apartments set for site of Santa Rosa Christmas tree lot
Santa Rosa, CA (February 8, 2019) – A new housing project in west central Santa Rosa that promises to provide dozens of affordable apartments is taking shape on a busy corner just north of Highway 12 best known as a Christmas tree lot.
Plans call for a 41-unit, five-story apartment building branded Dutton Flats on the corner of West Third Street and Dutton Avenue. All of the units would be limited to tenants earning between up to 30 to up to 60 percent of the area’s median income, about $84,000 for family of four.
Pullman Lofts Approved by the City of Santa Rosa
Santa Rosa, CA (June 6, 2015) – Located on the site of the original Laws and Yaeger Lumber Yard in the West End of Downtown Santa Rosa, Pullman Lofts will be among the first transit-orientated housing projects adjacent to the Sonoma-Marin Area Rail Transit station in Railroad Square.
The Press Democrat recently featured the project, highlighting the streamlined city approvals due to it's compliance with the city’s 2007 Downtown Station Area Plan, which set the vision for denser housing and mixed uses around the future station.
